The Role: Business Development Manager

We are seeking a driven, strategic Business Development Manager to help lead our next phase of international growth. You will play a pivotal role in identifying new markets, forging key partnerships, and representing Exodus Consultants on a global stage. This is a high-impact role for a commercially minded individual with a hands-on approach and proven leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue strategic education markets in the UK and globally
  • Build partnerships with universities, agents, sponsors, and recruitment bodies
  • Represent Exodus at international expos, conferences, and events
  • Collaborate with digital and marketing teams to align growth campaigns
  • Lead negotiations and formalize institutional agreements
  • Stay informed on visa regulations, education trends, and market shifts
  • Support business strategy, proposals, and cross-functional operations

Candidate Profile - Essential

  • Strong business development experience (education or consultancy preferred)
  • Knowledge of UK & international higher education systems
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinker, execution-focused, and results-driven
  • International exposure and cultural awareness
  • Willingness to travel extensively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms

Candidate Profile - Desirable

  • Fluency in a second language (e.g., Mandarin, Arabic, Spanish)
  • Experience in international student recruitment
  • Understanding of UK visa and admission systems
